The Loss Prevention Foundation
The 2020 ‘Swing for Certification’ golf tournament is set for Monday, June 22, 2020 at Olde Stonewall Golf Club in Ellwood City, PA and will once again precede the NRF Protect conference June 22 – 24 in Pittsburgh, PA. Hosted by The Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF), the event is open to all retailers to benefit the Bob MacLea Scholarships for loss prevention and asset protection professionals who want to advance their careers through obtaining their LPQ or LPC certification. Over the last 2 years, over 260 Bob MacLea LPQ & LPC scholarships have been awarded to individuals, representing 73 different companies in 19 countries and the US Armed Forces! Proceeds from the tournament also benefit the Loss Prevention Benevolent Fund.
“This is the 3rd year that we are hosting ‘Swing for Certification’ and we are so excited to begin planning all the logistics for the tournament,” commented Terry Sullivan, LPC, president of the Loss Prevention Foundation. “I am excited to once again announce that Vector Security Networks will be our Platinum sponsor and that all other sponsorships have already sold out. We have 100% of our sponsors back to support the LPF and Loss Prevention Benevolent Fund. Last year’s tournament was a huge success with over 120 loss prevention professionals and solution provider sponsors coming out for the day and we are looking forward to another great tournament in June!”
The event will begin at 8:30am with breakfast and a shotgun start. Prizes and awards will be handed out at a reception following golf.
