Bob MacLea | Scholarship Application

The Loss Prevention Foundation is pleased to announce the Bob MacLea Scholarship in remembrance of his contribution to the Loss Prevention and Asset Protection Industry.

This year, 2019, marks the second year for the annual Swing for Certification Golf Tournament, hosted by the Loss Prevention Foundation. This event is to raise funds for worthy LP professionals, who have a willingness to commit themselves to continuing their education, to earn a Bob MacLea Scholarship. Proceeds generated through the golf tournament will also benefit The Loss Prevention Benevolent Fund.

The goal of the LPF Scholarship Program is to provide LPQ & LPC scholarships to well-deserving loss prevention / asset protection practitioners and new entries to the retail LP industry. The scholarships fund the cost of course materials needed to obtain certification from the LPF (LPC or LPQ). The cost of the exams is not included in the scholarship.

The coursework for each of the programs is explained in these links: LPQualified and LPCertified

Applications are currently being accepted for our 2019 Scholarship program. The deadline to submit an application is September 1, 2019. Scholarship recipients will be announced before the end of September.

The Scholarship Application Window is now closed.
